This is a great mountain lodge with a beautiful view of Hakuba Oike. I also really appreciate that it offers Wi-Fi via Starlink. If possible, I’d like to request the following two things: 1. Please light the fireplace in the drying room. It’s great that there’s a drying room, but since the fireplace wasn’t lit, my sweat-soaked clothes didn’t dry. If there’s a fireplace, it would be helpful if you could light it. 2. Please add partitions to the rooms. Even a simple screen or curtain would be fine—I’d like to see partitions added to the shared rooms.

I suppose it’s an older-style mountain hut, but for someone like me who just started hiking, it’s unbearable. Above all, being crammed into a small space with other people is unpleasant. The next day, I stayed at the Hakuba Mountain Hut, and the difference was like night and day. The location is great, so I’m hoping they’ll renovate it.

I stayed for one night, and the dinner, breakfast, and packed lunch were all excellent. The staff at the mountain lodge were also very kind and took great care of me. I understand that, as a mountain lodge, it’s unavoidable—given the need to accommodate many guests—and I appreciate the structural limitations, but personally, I would have preferred the ceilings in the rooms to be a little higher. I’m sorry for asking for something that might be too much to ask. Still, I’d love to stay there again. I look forward to your hospitality when I do. Thank you very much.

It's nothing special, but nothing bad either. As is often the case with mountain huts, I don't think the customer service is very good.
