Thank you for everything. I imagine running a mountain hut is a lot of work, but thanks to the hut, I’m able to go hiking. I can’t thank you enough. Since there were shelves on only one side of the shared Japanese-style room, I was glad to see there were shelves on both sides. I look forward to your continued support.

I stayed overnight at the Mt. Hakuba Mountain Lodge. Both the breakfast and dinner were delicious. Even though I arrived at the lodge as late as 5:30 p.m., the female staff were quick and responsive. I really appreciated being able to drop off my luggage and have dinner right away. However, I was surprised by how narrow the futon was. I’ve stayed at several mountain huts since the pandemic, but this was the first time I’d encountered such a narrow sleeping space—it was a bit cramped. I could clearly hear the person next to me breathing. Other than that, the restroom was clean and pleasant.

It was a tough hike in the rain, but when we arrived, we were greeted with bright smiles, which put us at ease. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was great, and the place was clean—we had a very comfortable stay. Next time, I’d like to hike up here on a sunny day and stay again. Thank you very much!

I was really impressed by the staff’s friendly and smiling service. The restrooms were cleaner and didn’t smell as much as they did the last time I visited, so I had a very comfortable experience. I look forward to visiting again.

I'm dissatisfied with the number of people assigned to each shared room. The futons feel damp. Since no one asked us for inner sheets at check-in, I wonder if some people aren't using them.

It was my first time staying here, and after arriving from a hike in bad weather, I was truly grateful for the staff’s thoughtfulness—they offered me hot water, let me warm up by the stove, encouraged me to take off my boots, and even provided sandals. The restrooms were clean, with almost no odor, and I appreciated that they were separated by gender. I stayed in a semi-private room, but it was a bit of a problem that water droplets from condensation on the window dripped onto my face while I was sleeping. Since the reservation system didn’t allow me to select “Hakuba Sanso” as the arrival point for my hiking route, I sent an email to inquire, but I couldn’t quite understand the reply.
