Thank you for your hospitality. If there were a “Facilities” rating in addition to the existing ones, I’d give it an “Excellent” or “Very Good.” I was really surprised to see that they’ve installed Washlet toilets and are running a restaurant at that elevation.

We always have a pleasant stay here. I was surprised by the renovated restroom. It was so clean—you’d never guess it was located on top of a mountain—that it made us realize we need to follow the rules and keep it clean ourselves. The apple pie and pear tart on the terrace were delicious.

On our way to Yari Onsen, we lost our way on the hiking trail, which caused a great deal of trouble for everyone. However, thanks to the tremendous efforts of the mountain lodge staff, we were able to arrive at the lodge late at night. Furthermore, they had even prepared a warm meal for us upon our arrival. We are filled with gratitude toward everyone at Yari Onsen. Thank you very much.

I’ve resumed hiking after more than two decades and returned to this place with fond memories of the past in my heart. Usually, it’s rare for reality to surpass memories that have been romanticized over time, but Hakuba Sanso truly lived up to expectations—from its location to the desserts at the Sky Restaurant and the staff’s hospitality. I definitely plan to bring my wife along for my third visit. It is only because of mountain huts that so many hikers can enjoy safe and comfortable mountain trips. It’s no exaggeration to say that they enrich our lives, and I cannot thank enough all those who have been involved in running these huts since their inception. I’ll continue to stay at mountain huts and buy souvenirs to help ensure they remain profitable, so I look forward to the continued provision of comfortable facilities and services, as well as the development of new merchandise.

Last time (two years ago), we stayed in a private room for two, but this time we stayed in a large shared room. It was so comfortable that I even snored in my sleep! I do feel bad for disturbing the other guests, though… I was happy that breakfast was high in protein and had a mild, gentle flavor. I’ll definitely be back!

It was so huge that I couldn’t believe it was a mountain hut located at around 2,900 meters; I was also surprised by how clean the restroom was, with a heated, flush toilet. It was great that the lounge had a wide selection of manga.

Just as I’d heard, it was surprisingly large, even though it’s located on top of a mountain. It was a shame I arrived late and couldn’t fully enjoy my stay, but the facilities—including the rooms and restrooms—were clean, and I had a very pleasant stay. The location is also wonderful, and I’d definitely like to stay there again.

It had been about 20 years since my last visit, and I found it to be a consistently popular mountain hut. Thanks in part to the fantastic weather, my time at the hut was truly memorable, and I’m filled with gratitude. If I had to name one slight disappointment, it’s that I didn’t find the Raizo mascot particularly appealing; if there had been merchandise like T-shirts in a different style, I would have bought some.
