I was greeted with a cheerful welcome, which made for a very pleasant stay. Both the room and the restroom were kept very clean, so I felt completely at ease. Since my room was on the top shelf of the silkworm rack, it got a bit hot at night, though... The Goryu Curry is a little spicy, but it’s the kind of flavor that makes you crave it even after you’ve gone back down to the village. I’m planning to make the climb again just to eat this curry.

It had been over a decade since I last stayed here, and I was pleased to see that the place had been renovated and looked beautiful. I especially appreciated that the restrooms were equipped with Washlet toilets. The curry for dinner was delicious, and I was very satisfied with breakfast, which included salt-grilled mackerel and ganmo. It’s truly wonderful to be able to stay so comfortably up in the mountains. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

I heard it was renovated in 2024, so not only is it beautiful, but the facilities have also improved remarkably. Check-in is done by entering your reservation number or scanning a QR code; the dining hall has Wi-Fi; and the drying room has a jet heater that dries wet clothes in no time. The bedrooms were fully equipped with power outlets and even USB ports for charging smartphones, but what surprised me most was that the restrooms had Washlet bidets.

The staff were all very helpful. The woman with the perm was especially friendly and lovely. Both the curry for dinner and the breakfast were delicious. However, my personal space on the bunk bed was far too cramped. I could hardly sleep at all. I imagine mountain huts used to be even more cramped, but now that rates have gone up significantly, I’d like them to ensure a little more comfort for sleeping.

The restrooms—which everyone raves about—and the breakfast were wonderful, and the staff’s service was outstanding. I’d love to stay here again, but since the futons in the “Kaiko-dana” rooms are narrower than in other mountain huts, I’d appreciate it if there were more private rooms available.

This was my first time staying here. It was a large Japanese-style room, but it had been renovated, so it was very clean and comfortable. There were plenty of electrical outlets, too. I’ll definitely stay here again when I visit.

It was my first time staying here, and just as rumored, it was a very beautiful and clean mountain lodge. I stayed in a private room, and I was impressed by the tasteful decor—it even came fully equipped with hangers, ceiling racks, and power outlets, including USB-C ports. I was especially surprised to find a toilet with a bidet function, as I’d never seen one before. It’s a nice touch that the outdoor restroom is designed so you can enjoy the spectacular view through the window while using it. The drying room dries clothes very well, the scent of wood throughout the lodge is pleasant, and the meals were delicious.

The all-you-can-eat curry for dinner was really delicious.

The bedroom is a bit narrow per person, and I'd like it to be a little wider. The restroom is clean, and I'm very satisfied with it.
