I stayed here for one night during a hiking trip with my daughter. I wasn’t aware of the rainfall restrictions on the forest road, so I arrived later than planned. Even though it was before check-in time, they served me some warm tea, which really touched me. The next morning, after the rain had stopped, we set off with our energy fully replenished by a delicious meal. Everyone gave us warm words of encouragement as we left, and thanks to that, we were able to enjoy a fun and energetic hike. Thank you very much.

The campground is a bit far from the mountain hut, but I thought it was great that it had proper restrooms and a water source (which wasn’t dry). I think the location is excellent.

Although I had booked a shared room, perhaps due to weather-related cancellations, I was able to have a double room all to myself, which was very comfortable.

I was happy to have meat for dinner, but I’d prefer it to be a little less salty. I really appreciated being able to use the room at my leisure.

Since it’s located at the entrance to the popular Daisetsugawa Glacier, I thought it might be crowded with people, but I really liked the quiet, cozy atmosphere. They gave me detailed information about the conditions at the Daisetsugawa Glacier, which was very helpful.

I arrived quite a bit earlier than my check-in time, but they welcomed me without any problems. The food was absolutely delicious. I usually feel bad because I can hardly finish my meals at mountain lodges, but I actually polished off every last bite at Sarukuraso ヽ(=´▽`=)ﾉ
