Even though the place was fully booked and they were very busy, they handled even the smallest details with great care. The bathroom and washroom were clean and comfortable. I was surprised by how powerful the heater was that warmed the room at night, but as it got late and the temperature gradually dropped, I thought, “Ah, I see!” and understood why. Also, I had to change my reservation several times due to the weather. I really appreciate this system. Thank you for taking such good care of us in every way. Thank you very much.

Mount Hakuba is a mountain I was invited to climb 50 years ago by some senior colleagues at work, but I had to turn it down because I was too busy with work. This time, my wife and I came together, and we were able to fully enjoy the autumn foliage under clear skies, the majestic sight of the Three Peaks of Hakuba, and the magnificent views of the distant mountains. I’ve climbed 65 of Japan’s 100 Famous Mountains, but this is a mountain I’d definitely like to visit again. The rugged nature of the ascent and descent of Mt. Hakuba-Norikura is not suited for us older folks, which is truly a shame. Also, when my wife was suffering from stomach pain in the evening, a female staff member gave her some medicine, and she was back to normal by the next morning. Thank you so much. Everyone! It was the best campsite ever.

The location on the shores of Hakuba Oike is absolutely magnificent. However, since it’s a small facility, there’s nowhere to escape to after evening, and when the rooms are fully booked, it can be a bit stressful. As is true of all properties in the Hakuba-kan Group, I’m truly grateful that the restrooms are very clean and odor-free. As for the food, this is true of mountain lodges in general: there’s such a huge gap compared to modern urban dining habits that—while it might have been acceptable in the Showa era—it’s honestly unbearable for guests who have made gastronomic tourism their life’s work. I have absolutely no qualms about paying extra, so I believe offering a separate dining menu—distinct from the standard options—would help attract a new customer base.

I stayed here in a tent. The restrooms were spacious and easy to use. The staff were very kind. When I asked about the extension fee for leaving my luggage there, they said, “I don’t think the campground will be crowded tomorrow, so it’s okay if you stay a little longer than scheduled!” They also told me not to rush and to be careful not to get hurt. I had a very comfortable stay.

Since it was right before the lodge closed for the season, the store’s inventory was running low, and the staff were all rushing around and very busy—thank you for taking such good care of us. Once again, I’ve truly come to appreciate just how challenging the environment at a mountain lodge can be, and I’m grateful for the staff’s hospitality and for having a lodge where I can stay with peace of mind. I’ll definitely be back.

I used this service to reserve a campsite this time. I really appreciated the system that allows you to reschedule your reservation rather than incurring a cancellation fee for that day. Since I’d prefer to avoid hiking if possible when I know it’s going to rain—as the risk of getting lost or injured increases—I think this system is excellent. I also support the cancellation fee and advance payment policies. When considering the mountain huts’ revenue, I support charging appropriate fees. Given the need to maintain the huts and restrooms and pay the staff, I think this system is a good one. Since I don’t stay in the huts myself, this is strictly the opinion of a tent camper.

The campground was very well-maintained, and the restrooms were easy to access and comfortable. Thank you very much.
