Check-in at the front desk went smoothly. There was no space in the room to put my backpack. I couldn't use the ticket machines at Sky Plaza.
From StaffWe are glad your check-in went smoothly. We apologize for the inconvenience regarding the pack space in the rooms and the ticket machine at the Sky Plaza. We will take your feedback into account as we work to improve.

The restroom was clean.
From StaffThank you for noticing how clean the restrooms were. We installed washlets last year, so we are glad they were comfortable to use.

It’s a large mountain lodge, but it’s a very comfortable place to stay. The staff were very helpful, and both the meals and the boxed lunches were delicious. I was thrilled to find that the restrooms in the dining hall were equipped with Washlet bidets. The gift shop had a great atmosphere—it didn’t even feel like we were up in the mountains. Next time I go, I’d like to try the cake and beef stew.
From StaffWe are so pleased to hear you found the hut so comfortable to stay in. It is wonderful that you enjoyed the staff, the meals, and the boxed lunches as well. We installed washlets in the dining hall restroom last year, so we are glad it was comfortable to use. We are also happy you enjoyed the shop's atmosphere — we hope you will try the cake and beef stew next time.

I was surprised to see such a large mountain lodge near the summit. It was great that there was plenty of space at my feet to set down my backpack. Arriving at 4:00 p.m.—depending on the gondola’s operating hours from Tsugaike—was quite a challenge for people who aren’t strong hikers, as even a minor mishap could prevent them from making it. Since cell phone reception is often unreliable, it would be helpful if text messaging via satellite communication were made available.
From StaffWe are glad you were surprised by the scale of the hut this close to the summit, and that the space for setting down packs worked well for you. As for phone signal, mountain terrain makes reliable reception difficult in many areas, but we will keep your suggestion about satellite communication in mind for the future.

Check-in went smoothly, and the semi-private room was very comfortable. I really appreciated being able to charge my smartphone. I was surprised at how clean the restroom and sink area were. I was able to relax at the restaurant, and both the tart and the beer were delicious. The breakfast and lunch bento boxes were perfect. Above all, it was amazing how thoroughly clean the entire lodge was! I’m truly impressed by the daily efforts of all the staff. I was completely satisfied. Thank you very much!
From StaffThank you for such a detailed and thoughtful review. We are glad the semi-private rooms, phone charging, and the restrooms and washroom met your expectations. We renovated the restrooms last year, including adding washlets, so it is wonderful to hear they were comfortable to use. Thank you also for noticing the tarts at the restaurant, the boxed lunches, and the cleanliness throughout the hut — it truly encourages our staff. We appreciate you taking the time to write this.

For dinner, I thought a meat dish with a bit more flavor might be better. I was satisfied with the service; the staff were very kind.
Thank you for the kind words about our friendly service. As for the seasoning of the meat dish at dinner, we will take your feedback into account going forward.
