I suppose it’s unavoidable since the location doesn’t allow for separate restrooms, but I did take special care with just one thing: the restrooms are unisex. Well, since the people who come here have already stepped beyond the norms of everyday life down below, it’s not a problem.

We set out from the Karamatsu-dake Summit Lodge. We arrived just before 5:00 p.m., which I’m sure caused some inconvenience, but the staff treated us very kindly. Thank you very much. I’m truly grateful that there’s a lodge in that location.

Kirette Hut is built entirely of Japanese cypress on a cliffside along the ridgeline, a rare structure that some say could not be rebuilt with today's construction methods. Thanks to this cabin, even someone like me who wasn't sure about my stamina was able to complete the Hachimine Kirett. The staff were all very kind. The hamburger steak for dinner was delicious.

I’d like you to give a little more thought to the room assignments. Since the second floor was empty, I would have liked to use a slightly larger space. I’d like some kind of partition, even a simple one like a curtain. I’d also like separate restrooms for men and women. The hamburger steak for dinner was delicious.

I’d like to thank you for your hospitality during my traverse from Oginzawa to Mt. Kashimayari and on to Mt. Goryu. When I finally saw the hut with my exhausted body and recognized the faces of the hut warden and the patrol members, I felt truly relieved. The Kireto Hut is a place I’d always wanted to stay at—one that can only be reached by those who have overcome the trials to get there. Thank you so much for everything!

The location was simply the best! I’m so grateful they built it right there. The facilities were generally clean and well-maintained. The hamburger steak and miso soup packed with vegetables for dinner were especially delicious. I really appreciated that they started generating power and turned on the lights early in the morning. It was also great that the smell from the restroom wasn’t noticeable at all in the living area. The sleeping space per person was a bit cramped, but that’s to be expected during the Obon holiday period.
We were truly moved to read your appreciation for this location itself. So glad the facilities also left a good impression, along with the dinner hamburger steak and miso soup. Thank you for noticing the early-morning power and lighting as well. We're sorry the sleeping space felt a bit tight, which can happen during the busiest holiday periods.
