Even though I arrived early, they took good care of me. The bento they prepared for me was packed with protein—it was a delicious meal that I really appreciated. The scenery and atmosphere were amazing; just being there was so relaxing. It’s an amazing resort. It made me fall in love with the mountains all over again.

The service was clean and pleasant. There were some staff members who appeared to be from overseas, but they were kind, polite, and always smiling, and their Japanese was excellent—it made me happy that they had come to the Northern Alps.

This was my first time staying at the Hakuba Oike Mountain Lodge. I started my hike from Tsugaike Kogen, but since the steep climb from Tenguhara to Mt. Hakuba Norikura left me exhausted, I was able to rest my body thoroughly. I shared a room with another couple, and they were very considerate. Thank you very much.

It was a wonderful location, surrounded by flowers on the banks of a beautiful pond. When we finally arrived at the cabin, we were greeted by the staff’s warm hospitality and enjoyed a delicious dinner. We stayed in a spacious four-person dormitory room where we were able to rest comfortably. At night, I photographed the stars, and in the morning, after taking pictures of the flower fields bathed in the sunrise, I enjoyed a bento lunch. It included fried salmon, pickled plums, and other side dishes—it was delicious.

The campground attendant was very courteous ✨ The site we used for tent camping was flat and easy to stake down, and it was well-maintained, so we were able to fully enjoy the field of alpine flowers. The outdoor restroom was close by and very clean 👍️

It seemed that a great deal of care had been taken in assigning rooms; not only were all-female groups accommodated, but solo guests were also paired with other solo guests whenever possible.
