I’d be happy if the restrooms in Building 1 were also equipped with flush toilets. It’s really helpful that the hallways and restrooms have night lights. After all, it’s wonderful that drinking water comes right out of the faucet. The service is great, and the meals are delicious and very filling.

I stayed in a 2-tatami-mat private room. Both the facility and the room were very clean, and the futons were soft and fluffy, so I was able to fully recover from the fatigue of my mountain hike. The meals were also very delicious and hearty, and I was completely satisfied.

It’s been a while since I stayed here, and I was surprised to see how nice the room had become. When I think back to 40 years ago, when the three of us slept on just two futons, it really feels like a world of difference. It’s also a fond memory that our family of five was able to stay in a private room. It’s wonderful to see how flexibly you’ve adapted to the changing times, from implementing digital systems to accommodating international guests. Thanks to you, on my fourth visit, I was able to fully enjoy hiking in the mountains under clear skies. Thank you very much.

The meals were delicious and lavish—I was completely satisfied. It was convenient that there was Wi-Fi at the front desk. If you’re with Docomo, you can connect to the internet in your room as well. This was my first time staying at a place where footsteps in the hallway echoed this loudly, so I was surprised. If that bothers you, I’d recommend bringing earplugs.

I headed to Hakuba Sanso to attend the summit concert. It’s a very large lodge, and I’m grateful for the attentive service. It was raining that day, and I could really feel the hospitality of the lodge staff as they helped the first-time hikers—who seemed to have come specifically for the concert—stay warm by the stove and with blankets while they were soaking wet and shivering.

Although we arrived later than planned, we were warmly welcomed and had a very pleasant stay. We also enjoyed a relaxing time at the restaurant while taking in the wonderful view. The room was a semi-private suite, but it was comfortable enough for us to relax. We’ll likely be staying with you again, so we look forward to your hospitality.

This was my first time climbing Mt. Hakuba, and although my original plan to start from Sarukura had to be changed due to snowmelt, I’d like to thank you for the warm welcome you gave me after an exhausting 8-hour hike from Tsugaike. The weather was beautiful the next day on the way down, and I was truly moved by the views from the ridge walk. I’d love to come back again, so I look forward to seeing you then.

I made a reservation the night before, and even though I arrived after 4:00 PM that day, I was able to check in without any issues. The flush toilets with bidet functions were kept very clean, and the dining hall—which accommodates large groups—seemed to be well-organized, so I was able to use it without any crowds and had a comfortable stay. After breakfast, before leaving, I enjoyed a leisurely morning coffee by the window of the restaurant while taking in the view. If I come back next time, I look forward to staying with you again.

Dinner at Sky Plaza (beef stew) was a special experience. The quality was so high, it was hard to believe we were on a mountain at an elevation of 3,000 meters.
We're truly delighted that our beef stew dinner at the Sky Plaza became such a special moment for you.
