We used this venue for the Super Mountaineering Club's live performance. Thank you for hosting the event again this year. Although it was a bit crowded, we were able to enjoy ourselves comfortably. We would love to use this venue again if the opportunity arises.

Until now, I’d only ever stayed in emergency shelters, so this was my first time staying at a mountain hut on Honshu. I was truly impressed that a place so difficult to supply with supplies could be this clean and comfortable. I was particularly surprised by how clean the renovated flush toilet was—I take my hat off to the staff who maintain it. It’s not easy to make the trip from Hokkaido, but next time I definitely want to stay overnight and try the beef stew.

Since the Super Mountaineering Club was performing live that day, dinner was served as a boxed meal, but the pork was tender and delicious. It was a shame that during breakfast, even though we were still eating, a female staff member kept asking us curtly, “May I take the teapot away?” over and over again. The woman at the front desk when we checked in also seemed a bit cold, so I wondered if that’s just the way things are here.

The semi-private room I was assigned had no windows and a slanted ceiling. It was disappointing, since most of the rooms have windows (where sunlight comes in) and flat ceilings (as shown in the photo). I could understand if it were a last-minute reservation or arrival, but I booked well in advance and checked in early. I wish they would either set a separate price tier for this type of room or ask for consent when it’s unavoidable, such as for last-minute reservations. Everything else was fine.

This was my first visit. The receptionist and the rest of the staff were all very friendly. The private room was very spacious, so I was able to really relax. I was surprised at how clean the restrooms were. The live performance by the Super Mountaineering Club was fantastic. Breakfast at Sky Plaza was incredibly delicious and served in such a relaxed atmosphere—I couldn’t believe I was at a mountain lodge. It was the best. I’d love to visit again. Thank you very much.

I felt so relaxed, surrounded by the scent of the woods. I slept soundly that night. The restrooms were clean, comfortable, and odor-free. I attended the Super Mountaineering Club’s live performance at Sky Plaza. I was amazed that I could enjoy such a wonderful concert in the mountains! It was truly moving! Thank you so much. I know it must be a lot of work to plan and host this event every year, but I’d be so happy if you could hold it again next year!
