The staff were cheerful and wonderful. I stayed in a large room by myself. It was reserved exclusively for women, and there was a futon for every other person. I really appreciated their thoughtfulness. I was also happy to receive the 120th-anniversary sticker. Unfortunately, the weather was bad, so I couldn’t see the view, but I’ll definitely come back to make up for it.

About Dinner: Compared to the dinners during my last two-night stay—which were both excellent, featuring hamburger steak and pork on both nights—this time’s meal left something to be desired.

The meals were nutritious and delicious. The staff at the front desk were smiling the entire time, which really helped soothe my tired body (smiles are the best!). The rooms also offered plenty of privacy, which was especially nice for women. It was such a treat to be able to enjoy draft beer right there in the cabin—it was delicious. Thank you so much for your hospitality.

The miso soup was nice and warm, which was great. The bathroom didn't smell, which was also nice. A cold breeze blew through at night, and it got chilly.

Congratulations on your 120th anniversary. Also, thank you for your hard work every day. I thought the hotel was very clean, and I felt the staff were well-trained. However, even though the restrooms were cleaned so thoroughly, by the next morning—some time after check-in—they were in a terrible state… Is it because there are guests from other countries? I found the guests’ manners to be lacking… As time passed, I noticed urine splatter around the urinal, slippers scattered everywhere, and—for some reason—slipper mats turned upside down. I felt that perhaps you should consider implementing a system to check the restrooms and provide guests with instructions on proper usage. That is what I came to realize.

It was a large cabin, but thanks to its efficient management, I was able to enjoy my stay without any stress. The drying room was excellent—I was really grateful that my soaking-wet shoes dried out thanks to the fan heater.
