When I finally arrived at the mountain lodge’s front desk, completely exhausted, everyone greeted me with a smile and said, “Good job,” which made me truly happy. That alone would have been enough to satisfy me, but I was also deeply moved by how every little detail inside the lodge had been thoughtfully arranged for the guests. Thank you so much. I’m determined to work hard to build up my stamina so that I can keep climbing for many years to come.

I really appreciate that you allow me to stay in a compact private room (double room) even when I’m traveling alone. The staff really know how to handle the crowd in the dining hall. The miso soup with meat served at dinner on August 1 was incredibly delicious. The story about the hotel’s 120-year history was very helpful for understanding Hakuba. I wish there were a way to avoid the breakfast rush, even just a little. Thank you very much.

After all, given the current state of things, even at Hakuba Sanso, those dormitory-style beds are a letdown considering the price and how hard it is to make a reservation.

The room was cleaner than I expected, so I was able to sleep soundly. The food was delicious, and the bento was the best. Even though the weather was bad, I was very satisfied with the mountain lodge.

It was fully booked, but we had a wonderful stay! The hiking information was very helpful, and it was a true oasis right at the foot of the mountain!
