Hakuba Sanso doesn't have a bath, so I can't rate that aspect. Other than that, it was excellent. The restrooms in Building 2 were very clean, and I was really impressed by the Washlet.

This was my first time staying at a mountain lodge. I was a little nervous since it was my first time, but the instructions were easy to follow, and the facilities were very user-friendly. The restrooms were clean and equipped with Washlet bidets. There’s also a restaurant on-site, and I was so happy to have such a comfortable stay at an elevation of nearly 3,000 meters! The scenery around the lodge was breathtaking, and I’m so glad my first mountain lodge stay was at Hakuba Sanso.

The food and service were both excellent, and I had a very pleasant stay. The only downside was that the sleeping area was a bit cramped.

It was a very comfortable mountain lodge. The restroom had a flush toilet and a bidet! I was also amazed by the beauty of the Sky Terrace building and how delicious the meals were. For the lunch box, I’d prefer it to include two rice balls and side dishes that aren’t too wet (like fried chicken).

I was happy to receive the 120th-anniversary sticker. I was impressed by how clean the restrooms were. I arrived around noon, but I was disappointed that the lunch menu only had curry, ramen, and beef bowl. It would have been nice if there had been a few more options. However, both dinner and breakfast were delicious. Also, the evening lecture on the history of the cabin and the starry sky was interesting. Thank you very much.

When I checked in, I asked to upgrade my dinner and enjoyed a beef stew course meal at Sky Plaza. It had been foggy all day, but just as evening fell, the fog cleared, revealing the full views of Mt. Shakushi and Mt. Hakuba-Yarigatake. To top it off, Mt. Tsurugi even peeked out from behind the clouds, making for an absolutely wonderful experience. The newly renovated restrooms were also clean and very nice.
We're glad you upgraded to the beef stew course at Sky Plaza for dinner and enjoyed it. What a moment, having the fog clear at just the right time to reveal Shakushidake, Hakuba Yarigatake, and even Tsurugidake. Glad the newly renovated restroom was to your liking as well.
