    The restrooms are brand-new and beautiful! All the stalls are Western-style and equipped with Washlet bidets! The view was amazing, too‼︎

    The room (silkworm shelf) was warm and comfortable to sleep in, and the curry for dinner was delicious. I was really impressed by the toilet with a bidet function. The staff at the lodge were so friendly and welcoming, and I’d love to stay there again.

    Assuming this was my first time staying at a mountain lodge. The Goryu-dake Mountain Lodge was very clean—especially the restrooms, which were spotless and left me satisfied… but the comforter was damp and heavy, so my overall impression was a bit mixed. Also, regarding the restrooms I mentioned earlier, they have Washlet toilets, but perhaps due to water shortages, the water pressure was low—which was also a bit of a letdown. I imagine people with experience staying at mountain huts might say, “Don’t mistake this for a regular hotel,” but since this mountain hut charges a pretty hefty price, I think they should do something about the water. But is that too much to ask?

High on the ridge, we carefully use limited water sources such as rainwater and snowmelt, so things like water pressure cannot be the same as in town.     I had a very comfortable stay at the tent campsite. Check-in went smoothly, and the staff handled my light meal request very pleasantly, allowing me to enjoy an unforgettable time. Thank you very much.

    I stayed here during a traverse from Mt. Goryu to Mt. Karamatsu. Perhaps because the weather forecast wasn’t great and there weren’t many guests, we were able to use the shared Japanese-style room with plenty of space, which made for a very comfortable stay. ・Dinner was curry (pretty standard). ・The breakfast bento was absolutely delicious! It’s my favorite mountain hut bento I’ve had in recent memory. ・The staff—while there were individual differences—were generally polite and pleasant to deal with. ・Charging devices in your room is free and convenient, as long as you follow basic rules like not leaving them unattended and not charging while sleeping. ・The restrooms were clean and comfortable. ・The draft beer (1,000 yen) was ice-cold and delicious. If I had to nitpick, there were hardly any manga or books—which are usually found in mountain huts—and the Wi-Fi didn’t work in the room, so I found myself a bit at a loss for things to do (I might bring a paperback novel next time I visit). I was very satisfied to see the star-filled sky and the sunrise! Thank you for your hospitality.

    I was able to check in just using my reservation number, which made the process smooth and easy. Since the hotel wasn’t very busy on the day of my stay, two groups were able to share the “Silkworm Room,” and I really appreciated having so much space to ourselves. The curry for dinner was delicious, too. I was delighted that all the staff welcomed us with smiles. I’d love to stay there again.

    Thank you so much for making my stay so comfortable. However… while I was sleeping… I understand that everyone was tired… ^^; But the person next to me was snoring incredibly loudly… It was a deafening noise like nothing I’ve ever heard before, and I barely got any sleep—which really took a toll on me the next day. In cases like that, would it be possible to move to another room if one is available? It really was a noise as loud as an earthquake or thunder (T . T)
