When I checked in, I didn't quite understand how to use the reservation number or the QR code, so it took me a while.

This is my second time staying here, following my visit last year. It’s the most comfortable mountain lodge I’ve ever stayed at. Above all, the restrooms and washrooms are spotless. There’s even a changing room, so I can change clothes comfortably even when traveling with men. The curry for dinner was delicious, too. I was also happy that the rice and miso soup were so tasty. Thank you for providing such a comfortable place to stay.

The curry for dinner was so delicious! I was able to get seconds, and since I was starving after the hike, I was completely satisfied! They even had draft beer—it was the best!! The restrooms had been renovated and were very clean; it was a pleasure to use them! Thank you so much!

I visited for the first time during the July long weekend. When I tried to book online, it filled up instantly, but on the day of my visit, the weather was iffy—perhaps there were a lot of cancellations—so it seemed there weren’t many guests. On the other hand, there were a lot of staff members, perhaps in preparation for the long weekend. I arrived a bit later than scheduled, and before I even had a chance to catch my breath, I was directed to check-in. However, the staff were all lined up side by side at the front desk, sitting there without even greeting me, which created an oddly uncomfortable atmosphere. Greetings are one of the most important things in the mountains, and Mount Goryu—a mountain with a high accident rate—is a particularly important mountain hut for hikers. I understand they’re busy during peak season, but I felt that a simple greeting would have made me feel much more at ease. The curry for dinner was very delicious.

Check-in was via QR code, the restrooms had Washlet toilets, Wi-Fi was available, and the room’s outlets had Type-A and Type-C USB charging ports—it was the best-equipped mountain lodge I’ve ever stayed in. The curry for dinner was delicious, and you could have as many seconds as you wanted, but I’d love it if they served side dishes like they used to.

All the staff seemed to be having a good time, and the atmosphere was great. They were also considerate with the room assignments, leaving one spot empty so that it was a women-only area. All the bedding felt a bit damp, but I suppose that can’t be helped. I was completely exhausted from the traverse from Mt. Jigatake, so I really appreciated the kind words, “Take your time—you can rest once you’ve settled in.” Thank you very much for your hospitality.

I understand that the silkworm racks are close together, but it would have been more comfortable if there had been a privacy screen. Other than that, it was comfortable. Thank you.
