I stayed in a semi-private room with two meals included. The staff were kind and had wonderful smiles. The Sky Plaza was also spacious and very nice.

I was able to make and change my reservation smoothly online. It was great that I could enter my companion’s information in advance and simply show the QR code at check-in for a quick and easy process. I also found it convenient that I didn’t need to bring cash since I’d already paid by credit card. The semi-private room provided good privacy, but there was a gap in the roller curtain, which made me a bit worried about changing clothes. The restrooms were surprisingly clean for a mountain lodge, which I appreciated, but it was a shame that the Washlet wasn’t working even though it was installed. QR code payments were also available at Sky Plaza Hakuba, which was convenient. For dinner, I switched to the beef stew, which was delicious and let me enjoy a luxurious atmosphere at a mountain lodge. I wish I could have made a reservation in advance. For breakfast, I opted for a bento box, which included a variety of side dishes like fried chicken and grilled salmon—it was delicious.

It was a very spacious and clean mountain lodge. The room was clean, and I had a comfortable stay. The lounge was also clean and cozy, with plenty of books to read. I was impressed that the restroom had a Washlet. We were efficiently guided to dinner, and the meal was delicious. Although the weather was bad, the staff helped us decide on the best time and route to head down the mountain, which was a great help. It seems you can brush your teeth there, so I wish I had brought my toothbrush. Thank you very much!

I really appreciated the compact private room (2 tatami mats), which ensured my privacy. I think there are many people who want to go hiking but aren’t comfortable with the style of sleeping right next to the person in the mountain hut next door. I’m one of them, and I believe that if there were more private rooms like this, the number of hikers would increase even further.

The room was excellent, with a private atmosphere thanks to the private room. However, I think they turned off the air conditioning in the bathroom at night, because the smell was so bad I couldn't sleep! I hope they fix this as soon as possible.

I stayed in a private room that was 2 tatami mats in size, but I wish it had been a little bigger. I kept bumping into the wall when I rolled over in my sleep. Also, the futon was thin and made me wake up in pain. There was trash scattered everywhere. Overall, it was just average, but I was satisfied with the service and the meals.

These compact private rooms are popular with many guests for offering a private space, though we take your point about bumping into the wall seriously.
