The bedroom is a bit narrow per person, and I'd like it to be a little wider. The restroom is clean, and I'm very satisfied with it.

The sleeping area was way too cramped. I was so close to the person next to me that our shoulders were practically touching, and my futon was sticking out over the edge. I had to be really careful even when rolling over in my sleep. On the other hand, I felt that the entire cabin was kept very clean. The restroom, in particular, was fantastic. I thought it would be great if they served lunch.

The shared room with the silkworm rack and a 1,000-yen surcharge offered a peaceful atmosphere, and it felt nice to be a little removed from the group guests who were leaving early in the morning—it was very comfortable. The curry for dinner was consistently delicious, and I was able to enjoy the breakfast bento at my own pace without feeling rushed.

Stayed in the silkworm room. The sleeping area was way too small. The restroom was so clean it put other mountain huts to shame.

Thank you for your hospitality. I really appreciated the 5:00 a.m. breakfast. It allowed me to take my time climbing to the summit. We stayed in the "Silkworm Racks" room, which has a capacity for seven but only had three of us, so it was very spacious. However, I imagine it would feel cramped if it got crowded.

While it’s not impossible to make a day trip from the Tomi Ridge, I figured that since I was going to climb it anyway, I wanted to see the spectacular views—and it would be a waste to rush back down—so I decided to stay here overnight. It’s an excellent base for heading to the summit of Mt. Goryu. The first day was foggy, but thankfully, on the second day, we were blessed with perfect, clear skies from before dawn—better than we could have hoped for. Both Mt. Goryu bathed in the morning glow and the 360-degree panorama from the summit were absolutely stunning. The lodge is beautifully maintained, the meals are delicious, and you can even have seconds. I was truly impressed that they manage to provide such a high level of service in this location. I even commented to another guest, “Isn’t it a real treat to have a meal like this first thing in the morning!” The staff welcomed us with smiles and were very friendly. I could even hear cheerful conversations coming from the dishwashing area (laughs). I’ve been staying in Hakuba since this spring, and this has become a place filled with wonderful memories. I hope I’ll have another chance to visit, and if I do, I look forward to your hospitality once again.

The lodge had just been built, so the rooms were very clean. Even as we walked up the stairs and down the hallways, we could smell the pleasant scent of wood. Due to the inclement weather, there were few guests, so the four of us were able to use a room designed for eight people all to ourselves. The restroom was clean, and it was my first time using a washlet in a mountain lodge. It was the cleanest mountain lodge I’ve ever stayed in. The staff also know the mountains very well—they’re wonderful. This has become a mountain lodge I’d love to stay at again.
