We were served two oyaki for breakfast, but both tasted the same—like apple-flavored red bean paste. I wish one of them had been a different flavor, like nozawana. It was a huge help to receive a free bottle of Amino Vital. I drank it right after receiving it at the front desk, and I think it helped reduce my fatigue. The miso soup served with dinner was packed with ingredients and very delicious, and I was happy that I could have seconds. I’d love to stay here again.

I had a very comfortable stay—thank you so much. The meals were also delicious and very hearty; it was the best I’ve ever had. When I went to get some drinking water, there was a sign that said something like, “Please use the water in the washroom for washing your face and brushing your teeth.” So I asked a female staff member, “Where is the washroom?” She replied very rudely, “Huh? What do you mean, ‘washroom’? “Do you mean washing your face? It’s in front of the restroom, so please do it there,” she replied very rudely. I was deeply shocked by this lack of basic hospitality. Perhaps she responded that way because I approached her during a busy time, but being spoken to in such a harsh manner made me feel very sad.

After being unsettled by a sudden rain and thunderstorm and the snowfield, we finally arrived at Hakuba Mountain Lodge, where we received a warm welcome. It was such a relief. The "Tenku Classic" event was absolutely amazing.

This was my first time staying here. Despite the poor weather, we were able to enjoy a leisurely meal at the adjacent Sky Plaza Hakuba, where we ate the boxed lunches we’d brought from the Hakuba Oike Mountain Lodge and drank the beer we’d ordered. We were able to share a room among the three of us, and the flush toilet was a huge help. Both dinner and breakfast were absolutely delicious. Thank you very much.

I’d always wanted to stay at Hakuba Sanso. The views were wonderful, of course, but I was amazed by the facilities and service—I couldn’t believe they were available high up in the mountains. It was a wonderful experience.

I was really impressed by how clean the restrooms were. Dinner was delicious. The view from the restaurant was amazing. There was a talk show about the history of Hakuba Sanso in celebration of its 120th anniversary, and that was also very interesting.

Thanks to a cancellation, we were able to upgrade to a semi-private room, which allowed us to enjoy some privacy—I really appreciated that. When we checked in, we ordered the beef stew dinner, and being able to relax and enjoy it at Sky Plaza was a wonderful memory. The drying room was spacious and nice and warm, so our wet clothes dried thoroughly—I was really grateful for that. The restrooms were flush toilets and very clean! It was comfortable. I stayed for two nights to ride out the typhoon, and I was able to have a fulfilling (?) time—whether it was enjoying cake and tea at Sky Plaza or just lounging around in my room.

I think it would be great if there were a hot water service—even if it cost money—because then I could dry off with a towel (500 mL / 300 yen).
