Due to the recent rise in temperatures, I hiked from Alps-daira to Goryu Mountain Lodge amid the triple torment of rain, wind, and fog. Even though I wore a raincoat, I ended up completely soaked, but I was truly relieved to receive such a warm welcome at the lodge. My wet clothes dried perfectly in no time in the drying room, which has amazing drying power. I wish I could have dried my boots there as well. The meals were delicious—I even had seconds of the famous curry—and the futons were arranged thoughtfully, so I was able to rest comfortably through the night. I was also able to gather a lot of information about hiking. Thanks to that, I was able to complete a round trip to Mt. Goryu and hike to the Karamatsu-dake Summit Lodge, even though the routes are said to be somewhat dangerous. The sushi in my packed lunch was delicious, too. Thank you so much for taking such good care of me in every way. I’m really glad I stayed here.

It’s in a great location for a trip to Mt. Goryu, which is really convenient. The interior is clean and comfortable. My son said he looked at the website and thought the bento box included tempura. The rice under the salmon was seasoned with vinegar and tasted delicious.

I was surprised to find that the restroom was so clean—and that a mountain lodge even had a Washlet. The room was clean, too.

I stayed in the newly renovated Japanese-style room. It had a pleasant scent of wood and was a very comfortable room. You need to use your smartphone to check in. Wi-Fi was available throughout the hotel.

This was my first time staying here. I was surprised by how cramped the space was per person. I wanted to relax and unwind, but it was so crowded that I couldn’t rest. The room itself was clean, but of all the mountain lodges I’ve stayed at, this is the one I’m least likely to return to. The food was delicious. It’s great that you can charge your devices. Since there were three meal seatings, there were long stretches without a break, and since I couldn’t relax in my room, I didn’t know where to go.

I was so impressed that the toilet had a Washlet! The heater in the drying room was really powerful, so my clothes dried right away—I really appreciated that.
