The staff were very courteous, which put me at ease. I didn’t have any meals or use the baths, so I can’t rate those. It’s a peaceful setting by the pond! I highly recommend it.

I really appreciated that you provided not only water but also hot water. The cabin was clean, and even though I was completely exhausted when I arrived, I was able to rest comfortably. I stayed here five years ago in September as well—the fall foliage was beautiful then—but this time of year, when the flower fields are at their peak, is also lovely. I hope to stay here again someday.

Right in front of the mountain lodge is a vast field of flowers, and I’ve heard that some people even hike up here specifically to see them. The futons in the room were smaller than standard ones and packed tightly together, and since there were no partitions, I had a hard time falling asleep… Other than that, I had no complaints, and I’m truly grateful that they’re running this mountain lodge here. I hope they continue to do their best in running it in the future!

The area around the mountain hut was a beautiful field of flowers. There were pink Chinguruma flowers in front of the hut. The next day’s hike to Asahi Hut was long and arduous. The room was clean and comfortable, and there were restrooms and a changing area. Dinner was delicious, too. Thank you very much.

Thank you for your hospitality during our family hiking trip. Since it was a busy day, we were able to spend the night on the silkworm rack alongside another group of two. We used the upper rack, and when it got hot late at night, we opened the small window and the curtains to let in some air, which made it just right. The meal was a delicious hamburger steak. We could have unlimited refills of rice and soup, so we left feeling completely full. The young staff members were very attentive to our every need, making this a truly memorable mountain lodge experience. Thank you so much!

As for the facilities, I suppose that’s to be expected at a mountain hut, but I did wonder why the staff were so arrogant. I’m not expecting the kind of service you’d get at a traditional inn, but couldn’t they at least say “Hello”? It felt a bit like being in prison.

I'd like the capacity limit to be increased by another 100–150 mm in the width of the sleeping area.
