Even though our arrival was later than scheduled, they handled it without a single look of displeasure. They did not blame us at all for our poor workmanship in filling out the forms. We were given a private room even though we were sharing a room, probably because of the time of year, and we were able to spend a very comfortable time.

When I arrived in the cold rain and headed to the front desk, I was greeted with a smile and such kindness that it warmed my heart. The lecture celebrating the 120th anniversary was a real treat—I enjoyed hearing stories about the previous generation! Also, when I was shopping at Sky Plaza and asked the cashier about the next day’s weather, they looked it up right away—they were truly kind. I’m so happy I got to stay at such a wonderful mountain lodge on its 120th anniversary. Dinner, breakfast, and the boxed lunch I ate on the way down were all delicious, and it’s become a wonderful memory I’ll never forget♪

This was my first time staying here. Thanks to its location right at the foot of the mountain, the breathtaking views of Mount Tsurugi and the Northern Alps, and the luxurious atmosphere of Sky Plaza, I had a wonderful stay. I could even sense a certain dignity that comes from its 120-year history. I also enjoyed listening to Mr. Matsuzawa’s lecture after dinner. I’d love to stay here again.

I had no idea that mountain huts and lodges actually had twin rooms. I was lucky enough to book one, and when I stayed there, it was just like a hotel! The staff were wonderful, the food was delicious, and I was able to sleep soundly in my room without worrying about other guests, so I was able to fully recover from my fatigue and enjoy a pleasant hike. Thank you very much.

This was my third visit to Mt. Hakuba, but my first time to stay there, only passing in front of the hut and using the nice cafeteria (not open yet this time). I had booked a shared room, but they let me use it like a private room in the winter wing? I was very thankful that they let me use the room like a private room. The view of Tsurugidake and Asahidake from the window was wonderful! The bathroom was so clean that I couldn't believe it was a mountain lodge. The bathroom was so clean that it was hard to believe that it was a mountain lodge. I had a second helping, though. The view from the front of the hut was magnificent and relaxing, and I was convinced that it is a popular hut. Thank you for opening your hut during the remaining snow season! I would like to use it again for skiing.

Hakuba many times, you chose to stay at Hakuba Sanso during the early season shortly after opening. Thank you also for your kind comments regarding the views of Mt. Tsurugi and Mt. Asahi, as well as our facilities. In particular, hearing that the restroom facilities felt “surprisingly clean for a mountain hut” is very encouraging for all of our staff, who worked hard on last year’s renovation project to improve guest comfort. We also appreciate your feedback regarding the curry dinner. During the spring snow season, meals are prepared under limited water supply and transportation conditions, but your comments will help us continue improving our operations and services.
