Since the weather wasn't great, I spent the whole time in the lounge reading manga. In a way, it was a really luxurious experience. The two-tatami-mat private room even had a door that closed properly—it was the best.

It was nice to see the receptionist working with such enthusiasm. It was also nice that the beds in the large dormitory were spaced out with one bed left empty between each person.

Bai Ma Mountain Villa is truly upscale. They even offer private rooms for booking. The entire resort is very spacious and spotlessly clean, and it has everything you could need. The only downside is that cell phone reception is poor, and they don’t provide free or paid Wi-Fi.

This was my first time staying at Hakuba Sanso. This time, I stayed alone in a private room for two on the second floor. The sense of privacy was well worth the price; they even lent me a plastic bag to store my shoes, and the layout—including the way to the restroom and the exit—was easy to follow, so I was able to sleep soundly. I also thought the information about power banks was helpful. The food was delicious, and the restaurant’s atmosphere was exciting. I’ll definitely be back.

It would have been better if the dorm rooms had at least been across from each other or separated by floor for men and women. All the staff members were energetic and made a good impression.
