I stayed at Building No. 2. The facility was so clean that it was hard to believe it was a mountain lodge. There was one thing that bothered me, though. At the drinking water fountain just before the dining hall, I saw many seniors casually washing their faces and brushing their teeth. Even though there’s a washroom right in front of the nice restrooms, it seemed like they were just using the fountain while they were there to get water—which I found unpleasant. There was a sign on the middle faucet asking people not to wash their faces there, but whether they didn’t read it or couldn’t see it, only a few of the older guests were doing this. I thought it would be even better if warning signs were posted on all the faucets.

I would have liked to have some sort of divider on the left and right sides of the futon.

Although we had originally booked a plan that included breakfast, you kindly changed it to a boxed lunch on the day of our trip despite our last-minute change of plans. Additionally, when we ate that lunch at Yari Onsen, the staff there treated us very kindly. You also provided detailed instructions on arranging a taxi after we descended the mountain, which allowed us to return home smoothly. Thank you very much.

This time, I stayed in a compact private room. Although I could hear some snoring from the room next door, it was great to have my own private space. However, I felt that everything—including the vending machines and merchandise—was a bit on the pricey side…

My 26-year-old son and I stayed there together, but even though there were plenty of vacant rooms, the one next to my son—who was the only male guest—was occupied by a woman, which made me feel uncomfortable. I wish they had at least put him at the end of the hall or left one room open between us.

I was surprised to find that there were very clean flush toilets. There were also events like concerts, which made for a wonderful memory. When the wind picked up at night, there was a constant sound of something banging against the cabin, which was a little noisy.
So glad the clean flush toilets came as a pleasant surprise — we renovated them recently, so it's wonderful to hear they made your stay more comfortable. We're honored the concert and other events became such a wonderful memory for you. As for the nighttime noise, that comes from the strong winds that are simply part of being at this altitude.
