It goes without saying that this is the largest mountain hut in the country. There are lines for both breakfast and dinner, but the staff handle the crowds with remarkable efficiency. It’s not the best choice for those who don’t like crowds.

Since there wasn't a docomo signal booster in Building 1, it was a bit of a hassle to have to go all the way to the front desk or the cafeteria, but I was able to have a comfortable stay. It wasn't crowded, so I was able to sleep comfortably in a bed with one empty space between me and the next person, but I think it might feel a bit cramped if it were fully booked.

It was a shame that the beef stew was sold out when I arrived just after 11:00, but I’ll definitely give it another try. Otherwise, the place was clean overall, and I had a relaxing and comfortable time. Learning about the mountain lodge’s history and the “Sky Classic” event were also enjoyable experiences. I’d love to stay there again. Oh! The bento box was delicious, too. The lemon-flavored? fried chicken was especially amazing.

I was really impressed by how clean the restrooms were—they even had flush toilets and Washlet bidets! The bathroom facilities were also very hygienic and clean, with hand soap and toothpaste available for use. In addition, the drying room and charging station were well-equipped, making my stay very comfortable. And above all, between the complimentary 120th-anniversary commemorative sticker, the history of Hakuba Sanso that I saw in the evening slideshow, and the “Classical Music in the Sky” event, I was able to spend a wonderful time filled with joy and inspiration. I would definitely like to visit again. Thank you very much!

The room was a little chilly, and I couldn’t fall asleep until the futon warmed up, but overall, I had a very comfortable stay. The staff prepared meals for us even before dawn, and I can only imagine how challenging that must have been with so many guests. They also greeted me with a smile when I checked in, which really helped ease the fatigue from my hike. I hope to stay with you again someday, and if I do, I look forward to your hospitality.
Sorry it took a bit for the futon to warm up — that must have felt a little chilly at first. Glad everything else made for a comfortable stay overall.
