I ate there while staying in a tent. The inari sushi was delicious.

The cabin was very clean, and I especially appreciated that the toilet was equipped with a Washlet. I was also impressed by the USB ports. The staff were kind and helpful, making for a wonderfully comfortable stay.

When I was taking a while to check in upon arrival, someone told me, “Take your time,” and that really helped me out. I was tired and my mind wasn’t working properly, so I couldn’t remember my reservation number, but that comment helped me calm down. I was surprised at how clean the restrooms were.

The cafeteria, restrooms, and other areas had just been renovated and were very clean, which was great. The lack of water was a bit of a letdown, but I guess that can’t be helped. I thought it would be nice if they had keychains or charms for people who love the mountains and love drinking.

This is a review of the tent registration desk for campers. I finally made it to the mountain lodge despite the driving rain, but when I asked the guy at the desk where the restrooms and water source were, he told me to look at the posted sign. With no guests arriving in the aftermath of the typhoon, he clearly wasn’t busy. In this day and age—not the Showa era—I think such an unfriendly, uncommunal response is an anachronism. It’s a real shame, especially since the campground itself is so nice.
We imagine arriving in such rough weather was an unsettling experience. We're sorry our guidance at reception fell short and left you with an uncomfortable impression.
