I stayed here the night before heading to Mt. Hakuba. The staff were kind and helpful, and the entire inn was very clean and well-maintained. Above all, I was so grateful to have a bath—it really warmed both my body and soul. The meals were delicious, too; the dinner in particular was a feast, and the hot pot (the pork was absolutely exquisite!) was especially tasty! I’m also grateful that I was able to have the room all to myself. I’m so glad I had the chance to stay here. If I have the chance again, I look forward to staying with you. Thank you very much.

For a great value, we were able to spend the night right next to the Nature Park—with two meals included, as well as comfortable, high-end hot springs and beautiful surroundings—allowing us to set out at a leisurely pace the next day for the Hakuba Mountain Lodge.

This was my second time staying here, and just like last time, I used it as a “forward base” for my climb up Mt. Hakuba. Dinner was hot pot, sautéed chicken, and even curry! Breakfast was an exciting buffet! Everything was delicious. The baths were comfortable, and with views of Mt. Korenka and Mt. Hakuba, it’s a place that really sharpens your focus. After admiring the sea of clouds in the morning, I was able to set off feeling refreshed in both body and mind. Thank you so much! I’ll be back!

The facility was clean, and even though it was on the day of our stay, we were charged almost no cancellation fee for the one-person reduction, so we were very satisfied. The manager’s advice was also spot-on and will be helpful for our next visit.

After descending Mt. Hakuba, we stayed here on our final day with plenty of time to spare. I’m so glad we didn’t rush through and hop on the gondola. The baths were wonderful—they washed away all my sweat and fatigue. Both dinner and breakfast featured a wide variety of dishes and were truly luxurious; I was so impressed that I thought, “This isn’t a mountain lodge—it’s a hotel!” 🥰 Thank you so much for your hospitality.

It was a place to stay that was somewhere between a mountain cabin and a hotel, and I had a very comfortable stay there.

This was my second stay here, and the front desk staff were incredibly kind—it made me feel as warm and welcome as if I’d returned home to the mountains. It was also a huge help that they were able to store my large luggage for me on both check-in and check-out days. The view of the sunrise early in the morning was absolutely breathtaking.
Thank you for staying with us for the second time. Hearing that it felt like coming home to the mountains means more to us than we can say. Thank you also for the beautiful photo of the peaks glowing in the morning light, a view that rewards those who rise early at Tsugaike.
