This was my third visit to Mt. Hakuba, but my first time to stay there, only passing in front of the hut and using the nice cafeteria (not open yet this time). I had booked a shared room, but they let me use it like a private room in the winter wing? I was very thankful that they let me use the room like a private room. The view of Tsurugidake and Asahidake from the window was wonderful! The bathroom was so clean that I couldn't believe it was a mountain lodge. The bathroom was so clean that it was hard to believe that it was a mountain lodge. I had a second helping, though. The view from the front of the hut was magnificent and relaxing, and I was convinced that it is a popular hut. Thank you for opening your hut during the remaining snow season! I would like to use it again for skiing.

In particular, hearing that the restroom facilities felt “surprisingly clean for a mountain hut” is very encouraging for all of our staff, who worked hard on last year’s renovation project to improve guest comfort. Thank you for your hospitality on May 6. At this time of year, the temperature at night near the summit of the mountain is near zero degrees Celsius, so it is freezing, but we were prepared for the cold and were able to spend a comfortable stay. The room and bedding were clean and well cleaned. Dinner was hamburger curry with salad and fruit. The curry was refillable, which was very satisfying for my tired body. It is only 15-20 minutes from here to the summit, so early in the morning you can go to the lodge to watch the sunrise empty-handed and return to the lodge to prepare for the descent with plenty of time to spare. Thank you very much and we will be back again if we have the chance.

Even though our arrival was later than scheduled, they handled it without a single look of displeasure. They did not blame us at all for our poor workmanship in filling out the forms. We were given a private room even though we were sharing a room, probably because of the time of year, and we were able to spend a very comfortable time.

We stayed at Hakuba Sanso on May 6, the last day of GW. We arrived later than planned and apologize for any inconvenience caused by the staff. We were immediately served a warm hamburger steak/curry, which was very tasty. We were energized in preparation for the traverse starting the next day. We completed the traverse from the northern ridge of Mt. Hakuba to Tsugakai-shindo and safely descended to Oyashirazu on the 9th. Thank you very much.

Even if you are not open during the summer season, we would appreciate receiving information on the condition of the trails at various locations. Some other lodges offer the option to have breakfast for the next day at the time of dinner, so we would appreciate your flexibility in this regard.

I have nothing but good impressions of the friendly and helpful customer service. I was satisfied with the dinner as well, as I could have another helping of curry. The only thing I would say is that the curry had a lot of water in it, which was not to my liking, as I like my curry a little more viscous.

Good points 1. The introduction of a reservation system simplified the reception and payment process and made it smooth. The restrooms have been renovated and are clean. I expect it will be difficult to maintain hygiene due to the large scale of accommodation. 3. It was warm inside the lodge with stoves and heaters, probably because it was spring time. It was especially cold around the toilets in the morning. We look forward to using the lodge again!

We used the room on the first day of our stay. The room was shared, but since it was empty, we were allowed to use it as a private room. The room was warm and sunny, so it was comfortable, and most importantly, the toilet was very clean. The toilet was very clean, but the water was not flushable due to the time of year. The employees were very nice and the customer service was good.
